An anti-overturn apparatus for a vehicle is provided to detect the abrupt inclination of a vehicle when driving the vehicle so that the overturn of the vehicle is previously prevented. An anti-overturn apparatus includes a vehicle body lifting unit(200), a sensor unit(260), and a controller(250). The vehicle body lifting unit is installed at a first side of a shock absorber(140). The sensor unit detects the inclination of a vehicle(100). The controller operates the vehicle body lifting unit if the inclination of the vehicle detected in the sensor unit exceeds a reference value. The vehicle body lifting unit is installed at the lower side or the upper side of the shock absorber. The vehicle body lifting unit includes a housing installed between a vehicle body(110) and an axle(120), a spring having a compressed state in the housing, a housing cover covering the opening of the housing, and a separator separating the housing from the housing cover. |
