<p>A projector with a single liquid crystal panel is provided to prevent an increase in the size of an LCD device by adopting a sequential light source device and the sequential driving LCD device, thereby miniaturizing the projector. An LED(Light Emitting Diode) light source(70) radiates RGB(Red, Green, Blue) light successively. A filed sequential LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device(30) generates an image by using the light emitted from the LED light source, displays the image corresponding to the light of radiated color, and stores image data corresponding to the light of next sequential color simultaneously. A projection lens(12) enlarges and projects the image from the field sequential LCD device.</p> |
