A mobile communication terminal for automatically storing caller information and a method therefor are provided to store a lot of information on the other party automatically if only a user simply selects storage of the information even though the user does not directly and individually store the information on the other party, when a call is made by the other party having a telephone number which is not stored in the user's terminal, thereby realizing the user's convenience. A transceiver(110) is configured for transceiving signals. A display(120) displays information. A memory(130) stores the information. A keypad(140) inputs the information. A controller(150) controls each unit, and displays a message which asks a user whether to store information on the other party on the display when a call is terminated. If selection for storing the information on the other party is received according to the user's input through the keypad while the message is displayed, the controller transmits a signal which demands information to the other party's terminal. |
