A mobile terminal and its operation method are provided to set spam interruption even for a message that has not been received before by exchanging various spam interruption information with other terminals. Stored spam cutoff data is detected in a mobile terminal(S100) and encoded to generate a short message(S120,S130). An identification code for allowing a different mobile terminal to recognize the generated message as a message including spam cutoff data is allocated, and when a short message is generated, the identification code is inserted(S110). The short message is transmitted to a different mobile terminal(S140).
