A heating mattress control apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to improve stability by automatically blocking power in case of an error of a power supply adjustment device and to prevent overheating of a magnetizing unit. A heating mattress control apparatus includes a current adjustment device, a power detection device(20), a current phase detection device(13), a power switching device(9), and a control processing device. The current adjustment device adjusts AC current supplied to a hot wire. The power detection device detects a phase of the AC current inputted to the current adjustment device. The current phase detection device detects a phase of the AC current supplied to the hot wire through the current adjustment device. The power switching device switches the AC current applied to the current adjustment device. The control processing device supplies the AC current to the hot wire when detecting first electrical potential on the same phase through the power detection device and the current phase detection device at the same time and the control processing device blocks the AC current applied to the current adjustment device through the power switching device when continuously detecting second electrical potential on the same phase at more than a predetermined number of times at the same time. |
