ULTRASONIC PROBE

An ultrasonic probe is provided to restrict confusion in an ultrasonic field and to prevent breakage of a piezoelectric element caused by expansion of a complex material. An ultrasonic probe(10) comprises a backing member(20) having a rectangular block shape, a plurality of piezoelectric vibrators(40) bonded to an upper portion of the backing member through a flexible printed circuit board(30), and a plurality of piezoelectric elements(41) and a complex member including a non-conductive resin member and a non-conductive granule. The piezoelectric elements have a plurality of holes which are aligned in parallel to each other. The complex member is filled in the holes formed in the piezoelectric elements. The non-conductive granule has a thermal expansion coefficient of 10^-5 k^-1 or less.
