A thin film transistor array panel is provided to prevent static electricity from flowing in a flexible printed circuit or a display portion even though the static electricity is generated at the exterior. A substrate(110) has a display portion and a driver portion, and plural first electrodes are formed on the substrate. A dielectric(20) is overlapped with the first electrodes. Plural second electrodes are overlapped with the dielectric, and are connected to the driver portion. A flexible printed circuit is electrically connected to the second electrodes. The driver portion has a driving circuit chip connected to the second electrodes. The display portion has a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer covering the gate electrode, a semiconductor formed on the gate insulating layer, a source electrode overlapped the semiconductor, and a drain electrode opposite to the source electrode.
