A security system and method for monitoring illegal thresh abandonment, a criminal and a vehicle are provided to effectively arrest a criminal or a criminal vehicle related to an emergency by specially managing entry/exit vehicle-related information when an emergency occurs as an emergency bell is pressed. A person monitoring device(240) is installed at a certain area, and generates passerby information including an image obtained by enlarging the face of a person detected in a nearby thresh abandonment crackdown area by using a person monitoring camera before an emergency information signal is activated. When the emergency information signal is activated, the person monitoring device informs about an emergency, controls monitoring camera in a direction in which a person is detected, and generates information about a passerby including an image obtained by enlarging the face of the person. A vehicle monitoring device(250) is installed at a general vehicle road, an expressway ramp, and an intersection within a certain distance from the person monitoring device and detects entry/exit vehicles by using a vehicle monitoring camera to generate entry/exit vehicle information including a vehicle number.
