A food waste recycling system is provided to reduce load of sewage by separating solid and liquid from food waste and draining only separated liquid to sewage, sterilize and eliminate bacteria and odor of food waste using a photocatalyst(TiO2) and ultraviolet rays, and recycle food waste as a raw material for feeder and compost by drying dewatered cake with dehumidified air at a room temperature. A food waste recycling machine includes: a body(20) including a hopper(22); a crushing unit(40) including irregular rollers(42); a solid-liquid separation unit including a dewatering mesh(60) mounted on the body, a screw(52) inserted into an inner part of the dewatering mesh, and a cap(70) mounted on a front end of the dewatering mesh; and a power transmission unit(90) for transmitting power to the irregular rollers and the screw, wherein compression force of the screw removes water contained in crushed food waste by forming the screw in such a shape that pitches of screw vanes(54) are narrowed as it goes from an entrance side to an exit side, thereby increasing pressure as the screw is pushed forward, and wherein the cap is closely adhered to a front end of the dewatering mesh by a spring(74) such that compression strength of the cap is adjusted by controlling pressure of the spring. |
