A cinerary urn is provided to prevent harmful worms from being created in the cinerary urn by allowing the cinerary urn to be easily biodegraded after buried in the ground. A cinerary urn comprises a body(100) and a lid(200). The body is made from a biodegradable material. A groove(120) or a support protrusion is formed at the rim of an inlet(110) of the body. The lid is made from a biodegradable material and includes a coupling protrusion(210) which is inserted into the groove of the body, or a mounting protrusion supported on the support protrusion of the body. The biodegradable material includes at least one selected from the group consisting of starch, wheat flour, sawdust, and biodegradable plastic. The biodegradable plastic includes photodegradable plastic, bio-plastic, or chemical plastic.
