A catalytic converter apparatus for exhaust gas of a vehicle is provided to achieve improved exhaust gas purifying performance by discharging vermiculite from a support mat such that a cell of a catalyst is prevented from being blocked by the vermiculite. A catalytic converter apparatus(1) for exhaust gas of a vehicle, includes a catalyst(10), a support mat(20), a shell(30), an inlet unit(40), and an outlet unit(50). The catalyst purifies exhaust gas. The support mat is arranged to cover the catalyst. The shell accommodates the catalyst and the support mat. The inlet unit and the outlet unit have ends with inner end cones(63) to be joined to both sides of the shell and outer end cones(61) for forming predetermined gaps from the inner end cones. Each inner end cone has a bent portion which is inserted into the support mat.
