The invention refers to medicine, in particular to psychiatry and psychology and may be used for treatment of negative psychologic states and phobias. Summary of the method of negative psychologic state and phobia treatment consists in that the patient describes his negative psychologic state in the form of picture, places the picture before his eyes, then traces onto the picture chaotically placed straight lines and cuts the picture according to the traced lines, studies each part of the picture and in the event of appearance of new sensations completes the image of each part with new elements, afterwards he mixes the parts of the picture and then reconstructs the picture, checking his reaction when looking at the picture. The operations of mixing the parts of the picture and of reconstructing are repeated up to the formation of a neutral sensation, afterwards the parts of the picture are thrown away.
