A method for manufacturing a thermally bonded fabric is provided to improve wearing feeling, a sweat-absorbent and quick dry property, a warmth-keeping and heat-insulating property, an antimicrobial and deodorizing property, and an antistatic property of the fabric. A fabric is woven by using a polypropylene filament-containing yarn for one or more of warp, weft, and binder. The woven fabric is dyed. The dyed fabric is thermally treated at a temperature of 140-170‹C by using a thermal setting device, thereby thermally binding a polypropylene filament portion of the fabric. The polypropylene filament-containing yarn is a conjugated yarn prepared by using one of a false twister, a twister, and an interlace machine. The conjugated yarn consists of a polypropylene filament and one of cotton, wool, polyester, and nylon. |
