摘要 An LCD device is provided to perform DCC(Dynamic Capacitance Compensation) necessary to represent a video while reducing a production cost as only pre-tilt voltage data is stored in an external memory even in case that an image signal is more than 10bits. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a signal controller and a first memory(700). The signal controller includes a signal compensator which generates a first compensation image signal and a second compensation image signal based on a previous image signal, a current image signal, and a next image signal. The first memory stores pre-tilt voltage data necessary to generate the first compensation signal. The signal compensator includes a second memory, a third memory(603), a parameter calculator(605), a fourth memory(607), fifth and sixth memories, a pre-tilt voltage calculator(613), an operator(615), and an output unit(617). The second memory stores reference compensation data necessary to generate the second compensation image signal. The third memory is connected to the first and second memories. The parameter calculator is connected to the third memory to calculate plural parameters. The fourth memory is connected to the parameter calculator. The fifth and sixth memories are connected to the fourth memory. The pre-tilt voltage calculator is connected to the fifth memory to generate the first compensation image signal. The operator is connected to the sixth memory to generate the second compensation image signal.
