MULTISTAGE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER

摘要

An engine with a multi-stage supercharging exhaust turbosupercharger having a small-sided and compact structure enabling the turbosupercharger to be easily mounted in a narrow engine room. The turbosupercharger is constructed such that a portion of charged air at a high-pressure compressor inlet is bypassed to charged-air outlet side of the high-pressure compressor via a compressor bypass path opened and closed by a compressor bypass valve device. A high-pressure compressor cover is formed as an integrated compressor cover incorporating a compressor inlet path for charged gas and a bypass inlet path having an open/close section operated by the compressor bypass valve device. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
