摘要 An electro-optical device and an electronic device are provided to display intermediate gray by a first sub pixel and a second sub pixel when it is determined that the gray value of image data is in a predetermined range of the intermediate gray without a memory necessary for processing overdrive to miniaturize the entire device and reduce a cost. Pixels(100~103) are comprised of a first sub pixel(20) and at least one second sub pixel(30). The first sub pixel is comprised of a first pixel electrode(21), a common electrode, and a first switching device(24). The common electrode is opposite to the first pixel electrode. The first switching device is on when a selection signal is supplied via a scanning line to connect a data line and the first pixel electrode electrically. The second sub pixel is comprised of a second pixel electrode(31), the common electrode, and a second switching device(34). The common electrode is opposite to the second pixel electrode. The second switching device connects the data line and the second pixel electrode electrically via the first switching device. A signal supply unit(13) supplies signals to a control line to turn the second switching device on/off.
