FORGING MOLDING OF CRANK SHAFT

An equipment for locking upper and lower fixing members installed in a crank shaft forging mold is provided to improve workability by automatically fixing the upper and lower fixing members to each other through the equipment in a state that the upper and lower fixing members encircle a crankshaft workpiece. In an equipment for locking upper and lower fixing members installed in a crank shaft forging mold comprising carriages(16) horizontally moved by pressurization of a press(50), and upper and lower fixing members(18,20) which are sequentially placed on the carriages and fix a crankshaft workpiece(1), the equipment comprises: cylinders(24) installed within the carriages; piston rods(26) horizontally reciprocated within the cylinders; rack gears(28) connected to ends of the piston rods; pinions(30) engaged with the rack gears and rotated in forward and reverse directions in accordance with straight movements of the rack gears; shafts(32) connected perpendicularly to the pinions and rotated in forward and reverse directions in a state that the shafts sequentially pass through holes(20a) of the lower fixing members and openings(18a) of the upper fixing members; screws(36) formed on peripheral surfaces of the shafts to move the shafts vertically while moving along screw threads(20b) formed on inner peripheral surfaces of the holes of the lower fixing members in accordance with rotational movements of the shafts; and lockers(34) which are installed on upper portions of the shafts, and which are optionally locked to circumferential portions(18b) on upper ends of the openings of the upper fixing members in accordance with the rotational movements of the shafts, and pressurize and fix the upper and lower fixing members by pressurizing the circumferential portions in accordance with descending movements of the shafts at the same time in a state that the lockers are fabricated to a width larger than a diameter of the shafts.
