摘要 A metal separator assembly for a fuel cell is provided to be mass-producible due to short welding time, and prevent thermal deformation even if ultrasonic welding is applied to metal separators formed of thin plates having a thickness of 0.3 mm or less. A metal separator assembly for a fuel cell is formed by laminating two pieces of metal separator plates for a fuel cell. The metal separator plate includes: uneven air or hydrogen gas channels(203,205) which are formed on a first surface of a metal plate having a thickness of 0.05-0.3 mm and in which embossed-engraved patterns are alternately disposed; uneven coolant channels(210) which are formed on a second surface of the plate and in which engraved-embossed patterns corresponding to the unevenness of the first surface are alternately disposed; an air, coolant, and hydrogen gas manifold part which is formed to perforate the first surface and the second surface; and a gasket installation part(201,202) which is formed along the edge of the plate to protrude over the surface opposite to the laminated surface of the plate. A polymer gasket(208) is inserted into a space formed between the gasket installation parts when the two pieces of metal separator plates are laminated. The gasket and the respective gasket installation parts of the metal separator plates are metal-polymer-interface-welded by ultrasonic welding.
