<p>A method and an apparatus for processing signals are provided to improve a low sound feeling by outputting harmonics of a low frequency band component of an output signal. A high pass filter(2) extracts a signal component(S2) which is higher than a resonance frequency, f0, of a speaker(5) from an audio signal(S1). A band pass filter(21) extracts a low component(S21) included in a frequency band between f0/2 and f1/2 from the audio signal. A second band pass filter(41) extracts a low component(S41) included in a frequency band between f0/4 and f1/4 from the audio signal. A pitch shift circuit(22) multiplies an output from the first BPF(Band Pass Filter) by two. A second pitch shift circuit(42) multiplies the output from the second BPF by four. An adder circuit(3) adds the output from the HPF(High Pass Filter) to outputs from the pitch shift circuits.</p> |
