摘要 A method and an apparatus for tuning a wavelength are provided to decrease a size of the wavelength tuning apparatus by enabling a user to freely select an arrangement angle of a diffractive lattice. An apparatus for tuning a wavelength includes a laser diode(101), a collimating lens(102), a transparent diffractive plate(103), a mirror(104), and a focusing lens(105). The laser diode outputs plural lasers with various wavelengths. The collimating lens generates a parallel beam from the outputs of the laser diode. The parallel beam passes through the transparent diffractive plate. The mirror reflects the diffractive beam. The focusing lens focuses the beam from the mirror and provides the focused beam into a pin hole of a pin hole lens(106). A coupler(107) reflects a portion of incident rays, such that an arbitrary resonance beam is generated.
