The high-pressure pipe element comprises two metallic tubes (1, 3) that are reinforced, and a mandrel (6) covering a weld (5) and a portion of reinforcements (2, 4) of each tube. An annular space (9) is formed between denuded ends of tubes and the mandrel. The space is filled by an injectable, curable material having a polymer. An internal surface of the mandrel comprises corrugation, and the mandrel comprises cone-shaped ends. The reinforcement elements have fibers coated with a polymer. The denuded ends of the tube have an internal pressure resistance higher than the metallic tubes. An independent claim is included for a method of fabrication of high-pressure pipe element.
