An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) data processing system is provided to suggest a framework of an application layer in the RFID system, thereby realizing various applications realizable through technology of processing tag data by applying an RFID reader to a mobile terminal. An RFID reader(340) is configured to recognize RFID tag data. A middleware(320) is configured to process data between the RFID reader and an application located within a mobile terminal(300). A user interface handler is configured to process an interface between a user and the mobile terminal. A command handler processes a command for controlling the RFID reader. A tag data handler processes tag data recognized by the RFID reader.
