摘要 A reformer having an evaporator is provided to expand the heat exchange area of the evaporator with the waste gas and improve evaporation efficiency of the evaporator by installing heat transfer pins extending to a flow path of waste gas exhausted from a combustion part. A reformer(20) comprises an evaporator(20c) for evaporating hydrogen-containing fuel, a burner for supplying heat energy to the evaporator, and a reforming reaction part(22) for converting gas phased hydrogen-containing fuel exhausted from the evaporator into reforming gas comprising hydrogen as a principal component, wherein a flow path for flowing waste gas exhausted from the burner is formed in the evaporator, and the flow path is provided with a plurality of heat transfer pins(28) extending from the evaporator. The plurality of heat transfer pins are installed along the flow path with being spaced from one another in a predetermined distance. The flow path is formed in a cylindrical shape. The plurality of heat transfer pins are alternately installed along the flow path. The plurality of heat transfer pins are radially extended toward an inner part of the evaporator from a horizontal plane that crosses the flow path. The reformer further comprises a CO removal part for removing carbon monoxide contained in the reforming gas. The CO removal part includes a water gas shift part and a selective oxidation part.
