The method involves cutting a unique piece in a material that can be folded and preserves its form after folding for forming a basket (2) having a tray. U shaped cuts of a central part (5) of the basket are arranged in the piece for permitting to individualize folding portions (20) of the piece, and a foldable zone is connected to the piece. The folding portions are folded again with respect to the remaining of the piece to constitute transversal walls (10) of the surgical equipment.
