A refrigerator having a water supply system for functional water is provided to supply a user with functional water by filling a functional filter with functional material such as yellow earth, green tea, vitamins, hubs, and germanium. A refrigerator having a water supply system for functional water comprises a main body(100), a first water supply valve(150), a functional filter, a second water supply valve(170), and a water supply unit(120). The main body includes a first storing unit(160) for purified water and a second storing unit(300) for functional water. The first water supply valve is installed to the main body to guide water from a water source(130) to either the first storing unit or the second storing unit. The functional filter has functional materials which are soluble in the water stored in the second storing unit. The second water supply valve is configured to discharge water stored either in the first storing unit or in the second storing unit. The water supply unit is configured to supply water discharged through the second storing unit to the outside. |
