A mixture of sulfated oligosaccharides consisting of heparin-derived polysaccharide mixtures having an average molecular weight of 1500 to 3000 daltons and an anti-Xa activity/anti-IIa activity ratio higher than 30, their preparation method and pharmaceutical compositions containing same are disclosed.
