The covering has a set of assembling elements (3), each having a base (4) fixed on a floor and a projection e.g. tenon (5). The tenon projects with respect to the base and extends along a vertical direction, to the floor once the base is fixed on the floor. The element and the tenon are made of elastic material. A floor element (1) has a housing (6) for receiving the tenon arranged on a mounting surface (7) of the element (1). The housing has shape and dimensions conformed to shape and dimensions of tenon, where the housing vertically fits and unfits the element (1) on the element (3).
