A method is provided for forming at least one continuous line (104, 106, 108, 110) of viscous material between two components (100, 102) of an electronic assembly forming two substrates (100, 102). The method includes the steps of depositing a plurality of spaced apart dots (20) of the viscous material onto a surface (98) of a first one (100) of the substrates (100,102) and bringing a second one (102) of the substrates (100, 102) into contact with the dots (20) causing the dots (20) to merge together to form at least one continuous line (104, 106, 108, 110) of the viscous material between the two substrates (100, 102). ® KIPO & WIPO 2008 |
