An apparatus and a method for sensing the temperature through tip sensing are provided to identify the location of an object that is a target for measuring the temperature by detecting the tip of the object. An apparatus for sensing the temperature through tip sensing comprises a sensor unit controller, a sensor unit(100) and a power supply unit. The sensor unit controller includes a setting section, a central processing section and an analyzing section. The sensor unit includes a tip detecting sensor(101), a first infrared heat sensor(102) and a second infrared heat sensor(103) which are coupled through a bracket. The bracket is driven by a motor(109) through a driving shaft(108).
