A modular cabinet comprising a substantially rectangular base module (10) and a pair of side panels (30a, 30b). The base module (10) having a pair of opposed front and rear braces (70a, 70b) and a base panel (72). Each of the braces (70a, 70b) include side panel connecting means. Each of the side panels (30a, 30b) include brace connecting means. The brace connecting means and the panel connecting means are engaged so as to connect the side panels (30a, 30b) and the braces (70a, 70b).
