Moving equipment for connecting articles to be moved, such as irrigation lines, to a towing vehicle. The equipment includes a fitting adapted to be securable to one end of a flexible irrigation line, and pickup equipment adapted to be supported by a vehicle. The pickup equipment includes a hooked arm and means for moving said arm between a raised and a lowered position. The hooked arm and the end fitting are designed to be releasably inter-engageable, and the moving means is controllable by the driver of the vehicle.
