摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The process of electrical resistance welding of two metal parts (1, 2) comprises maintaining a first welding electrode in contact with a first metal part to generate a first electric resistance of equivalent interface between the first part and the first electrode, maintaining a second welding electrode in contact with a second metal part to generate a second electric resistance of equivalent interface between the second part and the second electrode, connecting the electrodes to an electric source, and applying an electrical current (4) through the metal parts for a period of time. #CMT# : #/CMT# The process of electrical resistance welding of two metal parts (1, 2) comprises maintaining a first welding electrode in contact with a first metal part to generate a first electric resistance of equivalent interface between the first part and the first electrode, maintaining a second welding electrode in contact with a second metal part to generate a second electric resistance of equivalent interface between the second part and the second electrode, connecting the electrodes to an electric source, and applying an electrical current (4) through the metal parts for a period of time. The electrodes (3) are maintained using units, so that each electric resistance of equivalent interface is lower than the electric welding resistance. A contact force (5) is applied to the metal parts. First and second connection forces are applied between the first electrode and the first metal part and between the second electrode and the second metal part respectively. The connection forces have an intensity higher than an intensity of the contact force, and are applied in a plane perpendicular to the contact force. The connection forces are applied by a first compression unit and the contact force is applied by a second compression unit. The first and second electrodes are welded with the metal parts by a tin-weld.
