<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type linear driving device which can prevent mechanical interferences in a vibrator to increase the movable range of the vibrator and to reduce the wear amount of slide members. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration type linear driving device has a plurality of vibrators 6 formed of an elastic body 10 and a piezoelectric element 11 and a bar-shaped slider 8. Projections 10a, 10b provided to the plurality of vibrators 6 are brought into contact with the slider 8, and the plurality of vibrators 6 and the slider 8 are so constituted as to be relatively movable, causing the plurality of vibrators 6 to contact with the different outer circumferential surfaces of the slider 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
