PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed apparatus capable of improving the support strength of a bottom surface member and fixing the mounting attitude of a ladder though the attaching position of side fence bodies to leg parts is changeable corresponding to the preference and physique of a user in the bed device composed by connecting the side fence bodies respectively between both side parts of a pair of leg parts disposed on the head side and on the foot side and mounting the periphery of the bottom surface member on projecting lines respectively projecting on the inner surface side of the leg parts and the side fence bodies. SOLUTION: For the side fence body 7, fence members 40, 40 composed of plate materials in the same shape are arranged side by side at a vertical interval and are intermittently connected by a plurality of connecting pieces 41, and it can be interchanged between a high position and a low position relative to the leg part (upper leg 6). The projecting line projecting at the leg part can be interchanged corresponding to the height of the projecting line fixed to the side fence body and the periphery of the bottom surface member (floor grates 8) is mounted on the respective projecting lines.
