PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which overcomes problems of a particulate toner while making good use of its properties and a nonmagnetic one-component developer. SOLUTION: In the toner obtained by externally adding an inorganic fine powder to toner particles produced by granulation in an aqueous medium, a peak or shoulder of a weight average molecular weight Mw of a THF-soluble component by GPC is in the range of 2,000-5,000, and the toner has a weight average particle diameter D4 of 4.0-6.3μm and a BET specific surface area of 2.5-4.0 m<SP>2</SP>/g and satisfies the conditions: 50≤A<SB>T</SB>≤80 and 1.02≤(B<SB>T</SB>/A<SB>T</SB>)≤1.20, wherein A<SB>T</SB>(%) is a methanol concentration in 50% transmission by a methanol wettability test after the toner is allowed to stand in an environment at 23°C and 60% RH for 36 h; and B<SB>T</SB>(%) is a methanol concentration in 50% transmission by the methanol wettability test after the toner is allowed to stand in an environment at 50°C and 15% RH for 36 h.
