PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter which facilitates a confirmation of an official approval expiration of date of the flowmeter without depending on a seal ball by a display by flowmeter's own display means and by a communication from a communication means. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 2 is made to carry the function as a calendar means 5 to memorize the present date and to update the date day by day, the function as an official approval term memory means 6 to write and memorize the official approval expiration of date of the flowmeter in the memory of the microcomputer 2, and the function as a comparison means 7 the date of the calendar means 5 to compare with the official approval expiration of date memorized by the official approval term memory means 6, to control the display means 3 from the result of the comparison, and to display a preliminary announcement of reaching time before the official approval expiration of date and warning of reaching the official approval expiration of date.
