PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine sound processing device carrying out sound quality adjustment on collected engine sound to be on a required clearness level, by comparatively small computing amount. SOLUTION: A signal processing portion 100 carries out processing on a signal obtained by sound collecting with a microphone 11-1 and the like, and produces synthetic engine sound signals YL and YR. In a producing step of the synthetic engine sound signal, a sound quality adjusting filter 102-1 and the like in the signal processing portion 100 can execute a comb-shaped filter processing as sound quality adjusting processing. A mixer 110 carries out mixing of a signal before/after the sound quality adjusting processing. A control portion 200 decides delay time of the comb-shaped filter processing on the basis of engine speed detected by an engine rotation sensor 201, and decides a mix rate of mixing according to a driving state detected by a vehicle speed sensor 202 and the like.
