PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition high in heat resistance, excellent in impact resistance and also having high flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate-based flame-retardant composition contains (A-1) a polycarbonate resin, (B) an alkoxy group-containing organosiloxane, and (C) an alkali (alkaline earth) metal salt selected from among the group consisting of an alkali (alkaline earth) metal aromatic sulfonate, an aromatic sulfon/sulfonic acid alkali (alkaline earth) metal salt, an alkali (alkaline earth) metal sulfonate of an aromatic ketone and the like. Wherein (B) the alkoxy group-containing organosiloxane and (C) the alkali (alkaline earth) metal salt, are contained by 0.05-10 pts.wt. and 0.01-3 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of (A-1) the polycarbonate resin. In (B) the alkoxy group-containing organosiloxane, R<SP>2</SP>is a methyl group or an ethyl group; and R<SP>1</SP>contains≥50% and <90% phenyl group as an essential component.
