PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element material having regulated luminescent wavelength, exhibiting high light-emission efficiency and having long light-emission life, especially an organic EL element material emitting blue to bluish green light having short wavelength, exhibiting high light-emission efficiency and having long light-emission life, and provide an organic EL element, a displaying device and a lighting device produced by using the material. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element material is a metal complex expressed by general formula (1) (Y<SB>1</SB>, Y<SB>2</SB>and Y<SB>3</SB>are each R<SB>1</SB>-N, N, O, S or R<SB>2</SB>-C and an atomic group necessary for forming an oxazole ring, a thiazole ring, an imidazole ring or a triazole ring together with C or N; R<SB>1</SB>is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aromatic heterocyclic group; R<SB>2</SB>is hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z is N or H-C; G is a substituent; n is 0, 1 or 2; X is a halogen atom or an anionic monodentate ligand coordinating with carbon atom, nitrogen atom, oxygen atom or sulfur atom. ).
