PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new hardenable material for reline of a denture base, having effectively reduced peculiar irritation and unpleasant feeling to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, originated from a contained radically polymerizable monomer. SOLUTION: The hardenable material for the reline of the denture base comprises (A) 100 pts.mass monomer component having≤20 wt.% water absorption and comprising the radically polymerizable monomer, preferably a mixture of (a-1) a strongly hydrophobic polymerizable monomer having≤5 wt.% water absorption with (a-2) a strongly hydrophilic polymerizable monomer having≥100 wt.% water absorption, (B) 0.5-10 pts.mass water, (C) 0.1-20 pts.mass surfactant, preferably the combination of (b-1) an anionic surfactant with (b-2) a nonionic surfactant, (D) an effective amount of a radical polymerization initiator and (E) 50-500 pts.mass water-insoluble polymer.
