Disclosed is a blood analysis apparatus (X) for measuring the glucose level and the glycohemoglobin level in a blood. The blood analysis apparatus (X) is adapted to collect a sample of a blood (13) in just one sampling procedure for the measurement of both the glucose level and the glycohemoglobin level. Preferably, the blood analysis apparatus (X) is adapted to achieve the sample preparation for the measurement of the glucose level and the glycohemoglobin level simultaneously in just one sample preparation procedure. The blood analysis apparatus (X) may be adapted to achieve the dilution of a blood sample to be used for the measurement of the glycohemoglobin level and the dilution of a blood sample to be used for the measurement of the glucose level by using a single diluent.
