The invention relates to an adhesion chain for the wheel of an automotive vehicle, that comprises an adhesion tread intended for contact with at least the tread of the related wheel and kept in place using respectively inner and outer tensioning cables. The adhesion tread is made of a net of a textile material, and said net is made by knitting cords (7) which have in turn been made by knitting so as to define the meshes of said net, and the cord (7) include a reinforcing core (12) made of a material having a high modulus.
