<p>A method and an apparatus for managing a repeater in a security system are provided to enable the security system to include a switching module for matching an SSMU to the repeater at a ratio of 3:2, thereby enabling the security system to manage the repeater efficiently without waste of system equipment. A security system comprises an SSMU(Security control System Main Unit)(200), a switching module(300) and a server(100). The SSMU comprises the following parts. An SSMU_I(Input)(210) transmits an RF(Radio Frequency) signal corresponding to control of a wireless terminal entering a security system service zone. An SSMU_O(Output)(230) transmits an RF signal corresponding to control of the wireless terminal going out from the security system service zone. An SSMU_R(Redundancy)(220) transmits all RF signals of the SSMU_I and the SSMU_O. The SSMU transmits a keep-alive message from each SSMU_, SSMU_R and SSMU_O. The switching module matches the SSMU to a repeater(400) at a ratio of 3:2.</p> |
