FIELD: irrigation engineering, particularly to remove subsoil water accumulated by irrigation water filtration, and to eliminate soil flooding and salinization. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves planting field-protective irrigated forest windbelts and forming drains to provide horizontal regular field drainage. Width of irrigated field between the windbelt does not exceed summary dimension of zones of hydrologic influence of species composition of adjacent windbelts. Close drains are inclined from field center to zones of said hydrologic influence towards windbelts, which provide natural drain water evaporation. ^ EFFECT: increased ability of water sucking by windbelt plant roots, which provides seepage water usage for transpiration simultaneously over all root-inhabited soil thickness without capillary water lifting to soil surface and water penetration in aerated zone soil, possibility to break hydrological linkage between soil and ground water and possibility to transfer salt solution evaporation from soil surface into ground water transpiration into atmosphere by plants. ^ 2 dwg, 1 tbl |
