<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a stop position of a belt with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU of a belt drive control device detects a phase difference of output pulses of direct encoder sensors 11a, 11b for directly detecting circle movement of a record medium conveying belt 21 in constant speed control, start-up control, acceleration control, and deceleration control of the record medium conveying belt 21, and then controls drive of the record medium conveying belt 21 based on calculation results and either of the respective output pulses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
