<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet recording, which has good medium carrying ability and image reliability such as beading and cockling, and is excellent in density, gloss, image reliability, clogging reliability and storage stability, and to provide an inkjet recording method and so on. <P>SOLUTION: This ink for inkjet recording, suitable for ink-jet recording on a recording medium which has a monolayered or multi-layered barrier layer on at least one side of a support containing cellulose pulp as a main component and in which the barrier layer contains an inorganic pigment, except alumina hydrate, having a refractive index of ≥1.5 in an amount of ≥30 wt.% and the pigment having a refractive index of <1.5 in an amount of ≤10 wt.%, is characterized by comprising water, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a colorant and containing a dipeptide in the ink as a solid humectant, and having surface tension of 20 to 35 nN/m, and viscosity of ≥5 mPa s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
