<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor storage capable of reducing power consumption in a sleep mode. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor storage comprises: a plurality of word lines for selecting the column of a memory cell array 11; a plurality of word line drivers 18 that are connected to a plurality of word lines and include a CMOS gate 18B each; a breaking switch 21 that is connected between a fixed power terminal and the power terminal of the CMOS gate 18B, and breaks a fixed supply voltage in a sleep mode; a switch circuit 17 that is connected to a plurality of word lines and connects a plurality of word lines to a ground terminal in a sleep mode; a power supply control circuit 1 that generates a variable supply voltage using the fixed supply voltage and sets the variable supply voltage to 0 V in a sleep mode; and a row decoder 19 that is supplied with a variable supply, is connected to the plurality of word line drivers 18, and selects the word line based on an address signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
