<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sector drive mechanism with which an improvement in shutter speed during consecutive photographing and a decrease in variation in shutter speed are achieved. <P>SOLUTION: The sector drive mechanism includes: a rotor having four magnetic poles; an electromagnetic actuator having a C-shaped stator incorporating a first magnetic pole excited by first coil, a second magnetic pole excited by second coil, and third magnetic pole excited by the first and second coils; a current control means for controlling current supplied to the first and second coils; a sector connected to the electromagnetic actuator and used for opening or closing a shutter aperture made in a substrate; a drive section for transmitting the rotation of the rotor to the sector, thereby driving the sector; and regulating member for regulating the moving range of the drive section. The current control section adds a reverse rotation pulse to a drive pulse, the drive pulse being used to move the drive section to the regulating member by rotating the rotor and the reverse pulse being in reverse direction to the drive pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
