IMAGE PROCESSOR AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an image processor by providing a processing part such as an SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) type arithmetic means.

SOLUTION: This image processor comprises a storage means 110 storing input image data; a processing means 150 generating output image data of a different format from the input image data concerning the input image data and outputting the output image data; and an image data reading control means 140 selectively reading input image data required to generate output image data of different format from the input image data by the processing means, from the storage means and providing the input image data to the processing means.
