PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve robustness of a control and shorten a shift time, in two elements disengagement and two elements engagement shift requiring engagement and disengagement of four engagement elements. SOLUTION: In a shift from a first gear stage to a second gear stage, a shift is performed, in which a first disengagement element is disengaged while keeping semi-engagement of a second disengagement element, engagement of the first engagement element is started, and the second engagement element is engaged as the first disengagement element is disengaged. In shifting of the first disengagement element and the first engagement element, an engagement/disengagement state of the first disengagement element and first engagement element is detected based on progress of the shift, so that the shift can be performed depending on the progress of the shift while keeping a torque transmission capacity of the first disengagement element or first engagement element. Therefore, even if a multiple shift to the other gear shift occurs during the shift, a shift control can be appropriately performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
